Coach Michael believes football sessions must be fun and enjoyable. It is also vitally important to not only develop the player, but also them as a person.

His philosophy is to allow players to play with freedom, achieved by a creative style of play. Skills, movement, possession, passing and finishing underpin this. When he is not coaching football he is usually watching it, Liverpool being the team he supports.
